Zoopharmacognosy means animals that self medicate, this is what wild animals utilize to thrive and survive. Though our animal babies are domesticated and we feel that they are practically people too, they still have these innate animal instincts that they carry from their ancestors. In other words, even though our animals may have never been “wild”, they instinctively know what they need in order to feel better. This is something that is important for all animals, not just ailing ones. Offering self-selection to your animals gives them the opportunity to decide what they feel that they need at any given time, it is mentally stimulating (relieves boredom), healing and calming (separation anxiety), depending on the chosen herb.

The type of things that will or can be recommended are:

-Essential Oils

-Hydrosols (floral waters)

-Fresh or Dried Herbs

After you fill out a health history form, I will get an idea of what will work best for your animal’s self-selection garden. I may suggest other modalities if I feel that they would be more beneficial at this time. All consultations are done remotely and all my recommendations will be emailed to you as a reference.

Fill out the form below after purchase with all relevant information in the message box. A photograph and a name are requested to get a sense of the animal’s energy frequency. Photos and health history can be emailed to pawlisticoasis@gmail.com
